Tote Stadt gibt's genug was the title
of an exhibition in Köln Kalk, that was carried out in collaboration with the Pflanzstelle Köln (socio-cultural and urban agriculture) and with the alternative drug self-help Vision e.V. In the context of this exhibition, the two works "The sorrows of Mother Earth" were created.
The works shown above deal thematically with the destruction of our planet. Symbolically, Mother Earth is crushed by the effects of our careless handling of our resources, overpopulation, the destruction of natural habitats, to name just a few.
Tote Stadt gibt's genug war der Titel einer Ausstellung, die in Zusammenarbeit der Pflanzstelle Köln (soziokulturelle und urbane Landwirtschaft) mit der alternativen Drogenselbsthilfe Vision e.V. durchgeführt wurde. Im Rahmen dieser Ausstellung sind die beiden Arbeiten „Die Sorgen der Mutter Erde“ und „Auf schwachen Schultern“ entstanden.
Die oben gezeigten Arbeiten setzen sich thematisch mit der Zerstörung unseres Planeten auseinander. Symbolisch wird hier Mutter Erde von den Auswirkungen unseres sorglosen Umgangs mit unseren Ressourcen, der Überbevölkerung, der Vernichtung der natürlichen Lebensräume, um nur einige zu nennen, erdrückt.
